Stash Building Weekend

My husband and I celebrated our ten year wedding anniversary this weekend with an overnight stay in Santa Fe. While we were there I managed to drag him into the most delightful yarn store, Looking Glass Yarn & Gifts, LLC. What a fun place! They have a “husband” couch. Soft, supple, leather that enveloped my man the moment he sat down. This left me completely guilt free as I perused the aisles in search of the perfect yarn for my next project. I managed to control myself, though barely, and came home with some gems for my stash.

Most of these little balls of bliss will be lovingly turned into frilly fru fru scarves. I love how these yarns twist and turn and ripple with a life of their own. The muted brown skein in the photo will become a pair of fingerless gloves. I’ve been in a crochet frenzy lately and have whipped up at leFru Fru Scarf IIast a dozen pairs of fingerless gloves that I need to photograph (my least favorite thing to do on the planet) and list on Etsy. I’ll share those with you in another post.

Now, the tough decision. . . which ball of yarn do I play with first? Leave me a comment and tell me which is your favorite, and we’ll start there!

Enjoy your day, and thanks for stopping by.

Regards,

Monique
